Spreading Sunshine in the Library
Libraries are often seen as quiet sanctuaries filled with books and knowledge, but at Chinchilla Library, we believe in spreading sunshine and joy through a variety of engaging activities and community events. Here’s a glimpse into how we’re making our library a vibrant and welcoming place for everyone.
Painting Pots and Planting Sunflowers
We recently hosted our Sunshine Stroll and Seed Planting event for children in the beautiful Chinchilla Botanic Parkland. This activity brought together children and adults alike as they took a guided walk with Luke from Parks and Recreation. Children also enjoyed painting their own flowerpots and planting sunflower seeds. It was a wonderful way to connect with nature, express creativity, and watch something beautiful grow.
