Regency Romance Readers

I have a challenge for you, Dear Reader.

When you next find yourself a patron of one of our illustrious branches, I beseech you to discover the identity of the regency romance readers at your local library.
They are not hard to find. Once we find our reading niche, we seem to advertise it to the world in as many ways that we can. My big clue as to who I am: I have about 20 different editions of Pride and Prejudice on my bookshelf at home and have told (I think) every single person that would listen to me.

We love it. We breathe it. We want to live it! There is nothing we want more in life than to have our dance cards full and perform visually striking dances to classical renditions of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” with Mr. Darcy types. Well, that and maybe finding other like-minded readers to obsess with us.

Regency Romance Readers (or “Triple R’s” which I will now forever call me and mine) are busy scheduling the next few weeks of our lives around the release of season 3 of Bridgerton. With re-reading all the books and re-watching season 1 and 2 – please don’t expect much of anything to be done.

So, what say you, gentle reader of the ton? Care to join us in the world of Dukes and Duchesses? Lords and Ladies? Scandals and Swoons?

Bridgerton books in our collection

You can find all of our Bridgerton novels (as well as similar reads, because once you start you won’t be able to stop!) here.
E-books are also available on Hoopla and Borrowbox. Fun fact: Hoopla has the Bridgerton soundtrack available to listen to. Talk about immersive reading!

Or for those who simply want to read Penelope and Colin’s story before the big release, you can find “Romancing Mister Bridgerton” here.Bridgerton, regency, England, romance, colin, Penelope
