It’s a left-handed thing… Celebrating World Left Handers Day

Did you know that approximately 13% of the population are left-handed? Right handers are controlled by the left side of their brain, which also controls speech, language, writing, logic, mathematics and science. On the other hand (pun intended!) lefties are controlled by the right side of their brain – the side also responsible for music, art, creativity, perception and emotions. Does that mean left-handers are the only ones in their right mind? Hmmm….

World Left Handers Day celebrates lefties everywhere while raising awareness for the struggles they have to overcome in a world designed for right-handers. So whether you are a left hander or you know someone who is, these famous left-handers will inspire you to embrace your smudge:
