Children in the Western Downs are now able to experience story-creation and multimedia storytelling opportunities at their local library.
The iTheatre, in it’s simplest definition, is a storytelling device. The iTheatre is targeted for students 4-10 years of age, and is an interactive integrated system for story-creation and multimedia storytelling. Students can write a story, design their background and create illustrated characters. These designs can then be scanned, uploaded, animated and voice-over added to create their stories using the innovative technology hosted at your local library. Stories may also be uploaded to USB and taken home to enjoy and share.
By engaging with the iTheatre, children can develop their digital skills and creativity, in a fun and intuitive way.
