Crochet along with us to make a market bag
If you’re at all crafty, or just mad about yarn, join our online Western Downs Libraries Crochet Crazy group on Facebook as we crochet a market bag together. We’ll be posting our favourite tips for beginner crocheters as well as sharing our project progress. If you’ve never crocheted before, crochet is loads of fun and requires very little equipment to get started – just a hook and some yarn! Remember to join the facebook group so you can share your photos and project updates with other crocheters around the Western Downs.

Crochet Crazy workshops
Crochet Crazy workshops are coming in August 2020 across the Western Downs, at Bell, Chinchilla, Dalby and Moonie. The workshops will focus on crochet basics and beginning the Market Bag. Places will be limited, so keep an eye out for booking details or speak with your local branch librarian.

To crochet the market bag pattern, you will need:
- 100g of 8 ply cotton yarn
- 4.00mm crochet hook
- The Crochet Market Bag pattern (*)
