We’re assembling a special task force of creative, courageous and captivating characters to help us explore our region, known as the Western Downs Adventure Buddies – now, all we’re missing is YOU!
We’re on the hunt for creative kids to design a new character and write an exciting story about their adventures in the Western Downs. Your character could join the Adventure Buddies and become part of this fantastic team
Your story could inspire everyone to discover the wonders of the Western Downs and be part of something truly special. Let your imagination take the lead, and most importantly, have fun!

How to Enter
Entries can be submitted online via the link below or delivered to any of the Western Downs Regional Council Libraries, Customer Service Centres or Visitor Information Centres.
Remember – you need to submit your drawing and your story to be eligible.
