An Eggsellent Easter Hunt
The Easter Bunny visited and lost all his eggs at Tara Library!
Visiting children helped the library staff find the missing eggs in a scavenger hunt. Then, the children were rewarded with an Easter egg and went into the draw to win a large stuffed bunny. Finally, all the entries were put into a bowl and the winner was drawn…Miss Frankie Miller! Congratulations Frankie!
Our special Easter Storytime featured the picture book, “We’re going on an egg hunt” by Laura Hughes. It’s an exciting Lift-the-Flap book for toddlers (and who doesn’t LOVE the anticipation of a Lift-the-Flap book!?). The book is written in the style of the classic picture book story “We’re going on a bear hunt” by Michael Rosen. Reserve it today!

Why are the first five years so important?
More than a million new connections are forming in your child’s brain every second during their first few years of life. Research tell us that when babies and children get what they need it can have a lasting effect on their future. Sharing stories, singing, talking and playing with your child from birth builds a foundation for your child’s future development that can last a lifetime.
