Maya Linnell – Author Tour

If you’re a lover of a great Australiana, a fan of Fleur McDonald, Rachael Johns, Karly Lane and the likes, come along to an interactive, engaging and inspiring Author Talk with Maya Linnell.
Allen and Unwin bestselling author Maya Linnell is releasing her third novel Magpie’s Bend  on June 1 and will be touring Queensland until the end of July.

We are excited to have secured two Author Talks with Maya in our Western Downs Libraries.
Chinchilla Library  June 23  5:30pm
Dalby Library  June 24  10am

Gathering inspiration from her rural upbringing and the small communities she has always lived in and loved, Maya wrote Magpie’s Bend following the novel Bottlebrush Creek and Wildflower Ridge. With Magpie’s Bend, Maya perfectly captures what it means to live in regional Australia and the community spirit that goes along with it.

A Former country journalist and radio host, Maya also blogs for Romance Writers Australia, loves baking up a storm, tending to her rambling garden and raising three little bookworms. She writes to a soundtrack of magpies, sheep and chickens on a small property in country Victoria.

Spaces are limited and bookings are essential – don’t miss out! Reserve your place here.
