National Simultaneous Storytime 2021 – “Give me some space”
The countdown is on. National Simultaneous Storytime blasts off on Wednesday 19 May 2021 at 11am.
National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association. Every year, a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, childcare centres, bookshops, family homes and many other places around Australia and the world. Last year, nearly 1.3 million people participated in NSS. Will you join us this year?
This year, the NSS book “Give me some space!” by Philip Bunting will be read on Wednesday 19 May at 11am, with an exciting new program that combines literature with science. Join in for an intergalactic experience with the NSS book being read by astronaut Dr. Shannon Walker from the International Space Station!
